Mad Dogs Series 3 - With Mad Dogs 2 starting it's run on Sky1 on Thursday 19th January, the cast flew out to Capetown, South Africa on 21st January 2012.
Director of Series 2 James E Hawes confirmed on Twitter that the cast are rehearsing during the first week and that filming on the third series begins the following week under the Directorship of Adrian Shergold (who directed the first series).
Meanwhile, back in Blighty, James tweeted on 22nd January that he is "in Soho busy mixing Ep 4", and that Episode 2 contains many of his favourite scenes.
Episode 1 ended with a bang - not unlike the first episode in Series 1! - what else is set to befall the four Herberts?!

BBC Radio 6 Music - John Simm will be a guest on this show on 26 December 2011:6 Music is holding a month-long celebration of vinyl next month, with a new programme from journalist and record collector Pete Paphides extolling the joys of the renascent format.
Vinyl Revival starts on Sunday December 4 at 12pm and sees Paphides, former chief rock critic at The Times, talk to a number of musicians about their love of vinyl.
In the first show he visits Damon Albarn in his studio, with the Blur singer running him through a record collection that includes everything from Adam Ant to African funeral music.
In the second show Paphides talks to Florence Welch about her record collection, which includes rare items from Joan Collins and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Other guests in December include Johnny Marr, Bernard Butler, John Simm, Ryan Adams, Seasick Steve, Wild Beasts, Hot Chip and Young Knives.
Paphides will join Lauren Laverne on her 6 Music show on Thursday December 1 to introduce Vinyl Revival.
Last month the Official Charts Company revealed that year-to-date vinyl sales were tracking 40% up on 2010.[b]

Crucible Theatre 17 May - 7 June 2012 John Simm will return to Sheffield, where he last played the title role of Hamlet, to star in a new production of Pinter's Betrayal in the main house Crucible Theatre, beginning performances May 17 prior to an official opening May 22, for a run through June 9. BBC Radio 2, 10th September at 15:00, the Dermot O'Leary Show Mancunian musical legend and wit Noel Gallagher presents the Dermot O'Leary Show, with Matt Morgan. He's joined by actor John Simm and has live music from new band Folks, who are supporting Noel's High Flying Birds on tour. David Walliams also joins the show by phone, to provide an update on his bid to swim the length of the Thames for Sport Relief.
